A historic treasure in town
We savored the outdoor seating at breakfast. the surrounding garden felt like a hidden sanctuary. Each staff member’s warmth and attentiveness truly made our stay special!
Though our room was lovely, the outdated bathroom left us a bit underwhelmed. It's a charming stay, but a little modern touch would elevate the experience.

The Deluxe King Room was fantastic with its antique charm, and I really enjoyed the delicious breakfast served each morning. The peaceful pool area and cozy garden made for perfect spots to unwind after busy days. The only minor hiccup was a bit of confusion finding the parking area, but it didn't take away from the lovely experience overall! 😊

Staying at Anchuca was a delight. The historic charm surrounded us at every turn. The serene pool area was perfect for relaxation, offering a refreshing escape. The antique decor throughout the mansion gave it a unique and inviting atmosphere. I loved the breakfast. the freshly prepared dishes left me wanting more. The staff, especially Miss Lisa, were incredibly welcoming and attentive. However, the bathroom in my room needed updating. It was a bit dated compared to the rest of the beautiful mansion. Also, instructions on accessing parking could have been clearer. We parked out front and weren't sure of the correct entrance initially.

The Deluxe Queen Room featured a cozy reading nook by the window, perfect for relaxing with a book. The serene pool area provided an ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring, and dinner in the library showcased excellent dishes like the pimento cheese grits.
The mattress had some noticeable creaking and was not much to write home about, which detracted from a good night's sleep. Additionally, the air conditioning seemed to struggle a bit, particularly on the upper level, but considering the time of year, that might be a common issue in many places.

Just a smart choice for short visits in Vicksburg with high value for money. The breakfast options were tasty, even if there wasn’t much choice. Parking is a bit confusing, so look for the signs when you arrive.
